About Lindsay Trudell

Lindsay Trudell is a licensed cosmetologist and Grosse Pointe permanent makeup artist who practices under her Humble Beauty brand from within the Chez LouLou salon on Kercheval Avenue. Her services span nano brows, microblading, eyelash enhancement, permanent lip blush, 3D areola tattooing, scar camouflaging, Jet Cold Plasma, and BioRePeel.

Clients come to Lindsay from across Metro Detroit for her work. She also has some of the top renowned surgeons in Michigan referring their patients after surgeries for areola and scar camouflage tattooing. This practitioner-level recognition reflects not just the quality of her results, but the depth of the training behind them.

Training and Certifications

Lindsay is licensed and certified by the State of Michigan and Health Department under Body Art and Tattooing. Her individual certifications include sterilization, disinfection, blood-borne pathogens, permanent eyeliner, lip blush, and 3D areola tattooing. She is also a licensed cosmetologist and certified permanent makeup practitioner.

Permanent Makeup Training

She evaluates each client’s skin type, goals, and anatomy before recommending a technique, and makes those recommendations based on what is genuinely right for the individual. No two clients receive an identical plan, because no two clients are the same.

Recognition & Community Involvement

Lindsay has been featured in Grosse Pointe Magazine for her permanent makeup work. She has also partnered with Wigs for Kids, a nonprofit that provides hair prosthetics to children experiencing medical hair loss. This is a personal initiative she conducts independently through her Humble Beauty practice.

Lindsay offers the Brow Club through her Humble Beauty practice, a loyalty membership that gives members ongoing discounts on brow wax, brow lamination, and lash lift and tint appointments. Membership is a one-time enrollment fee of $49.

The program is designed for clients who make brow and lash maintenance a regular part of their routine. For those clients, the Brow Club makes Lindsay’s practice a more accessible and consistent part of their self-care.
